Lee Krug is nominated for his outstanding 40+ year career coaching Girls Lacrosse for Unionville High School. He created the program in the mid-1970s and was Varsity coach for 33 years during which time his teams won 13 league championships, were involved in post-season play, and had only one losing season. His teams won the District I title in 1991 & 1992 before the PIAA offered a state level tournament for Girls Lacrosse. His career record at Unionville was 474-115-15. He was also the head coach at Octorara High School (2010), served as Assistant Coach at Downingtown East (2011-2017), and has served as head coach at Avon Grove High School since 2018. He was elected to the Ches-Mont League Hall of Fame and the Pennsylvania Chapter of the United States Lacrosse Hall of Fame.

He also served as Boys Soccer coach at Unionville for 27 years during which time his teams won 6 SCCL league titles and qualified for post-season competition 16 times.

Lee taught chemistry at Unionville and was twice named Teacher of the Year. He lives in Coatesville where he spends his spare time flying his airplane.
