Kristin is nominated for her outstanding career as a soccer player and is considered one of the greatest goalkeepers in US soccer history. During her senior year at Connestoga High School she was named All-Conference, All-County, All-Region, All-State, Regional All-American, and High School All-American. In addition, she was named Pennsylvania High School Player of the Year.

At Dartmouth, Kristin was a three-time NCAA All-American, four-time 1st Team Ivy League, Ivy League Rookie of the Year, and Ivy League Player of the Year. She was nominated for an ESPY Award in 2003 for “Best Female Soccer Player”.

After her college career, Kristin was drafted by the Carolina Courage in the WUSA. She was the starting goalkeeper for most of her tenure, winning the Founders Cup Championship in 2002, WUSA Goalkeeper of the Year, and First Team All-league honors.

Kristin was a member of the 2004 United States National Team that won an Olympic Gold Medal at the Athens Olympic Games. She finished her ten year professional career in the WPS playing for the Boston Breakers and Sky-Blue FC.

After her retirement from soccer, Kristin earned a Masters degree in business from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia. In her professional career, she is helping to improve sports & fitness in the United States through “Academy One Goalkeeping.”
